Nearly 85 percent of BP economic loss claims in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties remain unpaid

According to the website LegalExaminer.com, 2,415 BP economic loss claims have been filed in Escambia County with the BP Deepwater Horizon Court Supervised Settlement Program. Only 359 have been paid to-date for a total of $70,000,000, resulting in an average claim value of $195,000.
