Home invasion nightmare in Winter Garden

Orlando Sentinel reports how a Winter Garden couple and their son were terrorized for two days by four people who kidnapped them at gunpoint, forced the woman to withdraw nearly $24,000 from the bank and shot her as she tried to escape. The family lived in 3,700-square-foot house inside a gated community.

    This is not the first home invasion there, you just don’t hear about all of them. South Orlando has become quite the haven of home invasions, burglaries, and crime.

    Too bad Disney didn’t invest in the community as a whole. Instead they just walled off their property and brought in the cheapest labor they could find after getting rid of all the real artists, carpenters, and actors that had been with the company for years.

    Thank you, Mr. Eisner, for proving the point about low wages, low expectations, and even lower community standards.
