An interesting analysis of the Crist vs. Rubio race for the U.S. Senate:
A sure sign that an election is a year away: Gov. Charlie Crist is changing again.
The populist Republican governor is trying to convince people he’s a conservative now that his opponent in the Republican primary for Senate, former House Speaker Marco Rubio, has cut considerably into Crist’s lead in the polls with a conservative message.
In the most extreme example of Crist reinventing himself, the governor denied endorsing the $787 billion federal stimulus and put out a radio ad in October criticizing President Barack Obama for trying to spend his way to prosperity. Crist clearly did endorse the package in February, saying it would help re-ignite the economy.
Choosing or changing positions based on what’s politically popular is nothing new for Crist. Whether it’s abortion laws, oil drilling or even the politicians he associates with, Crist can be a political chameleon.

Bill, namzaps,Henry:I assume you three did not show up and pay $ 50 bucks at recent local fund raiser by republican die hearts to hear Crist blame Florida’s near bankruptcy on liberals whom control both of Florida’s House and Senate. It was those damn liberals who are going to cost small and large business to pay huge $$$$ increase into the unemployment trust fund. Those liberals refuse to appear on NRA’s bill boards with gun in one hand, and a bible in the other. And do not forget, that Federal Judge, is not letting Pace High School to change it’s name too Pace Baptist High. As long as the Panhandle continues to vote a straight republican ticket in forth coming elections, we can continue to enjoy the reputations as being the dumbest and poorest counties in the entire state of Florida.
Charlie Crist’s favorite color? Plaid.
I throw up in my mouth a little every time I think of Crist.
ANYONE, who votes for Charlie Crist, for ANYTHING, ever again, deserves what they get. He will say anthing, just like Obama, that he thinks will get him elected. I learned my lesson in regard to Charie. NEVER, EVER, AGAIN. If he be becomes the Republican candidate, I will not vote in that election. I will not vote for a Democrat since that means Harry Reid would remain as leader, unless his own voters throw him out, but I will not vote for Crist. I am already fairly sure going to vote Democrat for Governor, but that is a different story.
