Former Democratic FL State Senator Dave Aronberg will announce his candidacy tomorrow to succeed outgoing Palm Beach County State Attorney Michael McAuliffe. McAuliffe announced yesterday that he would not seek re-election.
Aronberg has scheduled a West Palm Beach news conference Thursday at the county courthouse, where he expected to announce his candidacy. Aronberg has been working as an assistant statewide prosecutor for Attorney General Pam Bondi, a Republican, since December 2010.
