I enjoyed listening to Marty & LInda every morning. Marty is not funny w/o LInda. I am switching to Cat radio from now on. But I want to know what happened.

Linda Lawrence is a good woman. I met her years ago at church. I was fresh out of prison and in a church social setting during prayer I asked for prayers that I would be able to stay away from drugs and alcohol and to be the Dad my son needed. I had no money and lived in a friends garage and when Linda caught wind that my kid was finally being allowed to come see me for a weekend she brought a truckload of groceries to the church for me and my son. She is loving and kind and if the police were called on her I guarantee it was just to hurt and embarrass her. She is too good to work with people who would try to hurt her like that anyway. I pray she will find people who will treat her with respect the way she deserves. All the best to you Linda Lawrence,! Gods hand is in this. But I am sure you already know this.

I really hate that Linda is gone, I will still listen to Marty but the two of them together were a great team and she will be missed. Wish her well & lots of great things for the future.

Hmm, That’s quit an endorsement. Wonder is Sabrina works for WXBM?

I like Marty! so I’ll still listen! also WXMB is the only station around that plays up and coming artists! I always here it first on WXMB! to this day if you call cat country or any other local staion and ask for songs by newer artist’s they have no idea who or what the song is. Still a fan no matter who steps in on the morning show!!!!!!!!

Marty and Linda were a great team, she surely will be missed. I like Marty, a lot, so don’t get me wrong, but the change is really going to affect the popularity of WXBM.

I don’t agree with Chris. They were a great team. I’ve enjoyed their chemistry from day one. Never met either of them or talked with them on the phone but they have always been a part of my day. I’ve always liked the music but I can get that anywhere. THEY are the reason I stayed tuned in all these years. Marty is a good guy but WXBM will likely loose folks like me over this. But they had to have considered this when they let whatever happened go this far. I’ve never considered changing the dial but I guess it still works.

do you have a source for that frank? or can you at least give us a hint?

Ask Marty why the cops were at the station. And why Linda really left. And then keep your eyes open for the pending lawsuit.

Sorry to hear that, but the show has been stale for some time.
