It is a good show worth watching. In fact, the whole series makes you want to drive around Florida “grazing” at all the restaurants visited by Emeril. McGuire’s, Fish House and Joe Patti’s are all good for the tourists but the Pensacola Bay Area has some truly exceptional restaurants.

If Emeril had wanted a real culinary feast, he would have eaten at the Global Grill starting his meal with a Jalapeno Margarita Martini so good you could kick start each morning with one. The food at Global Grill is every bit as good as the food at Jose Andres’ Jaleo in Washington DC where I have eaten many times.

Next time Emeril comes to town, he should go to Global Grill, The Grand Marlin and H20 at the Beachfront Hilton. He should stay for a week and visit each restaurant multiple times. All are magnificent.

What Pensacola needs is a world class cooking school to help take the local culinary scene to the next level and beyond.

I think I’m wrong. I believe the episode was originally shown on the Cooking Channel and this is the Food Network PREMIERE! So let the countdown to the Travel Channel press release begin …

It is called free advertising by duping the media into publishing the “press release”.
The first air date was “press released” also by this blog.
But hey, I missed it and so no doubt other did too.

I hope no tourist come to see the featured ferris wheel on PC Beach, LOL.

Why did someone issue a press release for a rerun (original air date: 2/16/13)?
