Why is it that Studer’s gifts are gifts of obligation? I admire someone willing to spend the tremendous amount of money and time that he does in our community. But, why does it feel like we’ve been given a DirectTV satellite dish for Christmas when we don’t own a tv or have satellite service? I mean we’d all like to have these things, but when you didn’t want to put the city in the position of spending money you didn’t have, who is it really that is being gracious? I feel like we were given the dish as a gift, we had to buy a new tv and satellite service and then he’s coming over to watch tv all the time while expecting an inordinate amount of gratitude because of the “gift” that was bestowed upon us. Thanks!!!

Why don’t they put the Y in the tech park? ha ha… tech park… It would seem just as appropriate as putting it on prime waterfront property… Hey, idiots! Find a National Hotel chain to put a hotel there! Then fully support the efforts to get an ex-USN carrier tied up nearby… Geeze, this is really not that hard…
