August 17, 2013

One of Escambia County’s Work Release workers has been arrested for the August 14 murder of a local used car dealer. Justin Princes Taylor, age 24, has been arrested by the Escambia Sheriff’s Office and charge with first degree felony murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon by a felon for the murder of Adnan Mohamed Dali Gielati in his office on W Street.

Taylor has long history of arrests, which include grand theft auto, burglary, grand theft and battery.

BTW: Work Release Program is run by the county, not ECSO.

While it is obvious to me that Rick’s By-Line here is meant to incite more distrust and anger toward the County, George Touart, Gene Valentino and the Commissioners. A little passive aggressive if you ask me.

With that being said, the COUNTY DOES NOT decide who does and who does not go into work release, the Judge makes that determination in his sentencing order. So, to Scott C, Mike, G Russ and L.Laird I would think about that some. IN FACT, if you are so outraged you should try looking him up, find his Judge and go down to the Judges Office and tell the Judge what you think.

With regard to County Work Release, well it did its job. He was released to work and committed a crime. Under any jurisdiction I do not think that they have the resources to tail everyone released for work.

Now, if you want to debate whether he was a good candidate, well that arguments is confined to the Justice system, not the County. They do not make those determinations.

This guy should have NEVER been in work release. Had he been in jail where he obviously belonged, he would not have been able to commit this horrific murder and that man would be alive today.

The COUNTY let this guy out?

This county is a cesspool. Time to start putting people who have so little regard for human life in the death penalty express lane.

Just wait until Gene and George takes over the county jail. They will need to short the inmate population to save $$$$. G &GT keep mouthing that they will find $$$$ to fund the jail, when in reality they do not have clue where the $$$ is coming from, nor will they acknowledge they are just out to make money for their friends, who own medical & correctional company’s, whom will be making some health campaign donations…
