The Florida Senate wants to raise the millage rate for the Northwest Florida Water Management District to come in line with the rest of the state from 0.05 to 1.0 mill.
On a house valued at $150,000 that currently pays (.045 mil) $6.75 a year — it will go to $150.00 a year. That’s a 2,200 percent increase!
