Fox Sports calls out Warrington and Crack Alley

January 11, 2012

Fox Sports says that Warrington is “rife with violence, drugs and poverty” in its profile and interview of Alabama football star Trent Richardson. The Escambia High graduate tells the reporter that three of his friends were murdered last year.

Richardson’s cousin says, “People around Pensacola hate Warrington. We’ve always been hated on. Don’t nobody like Warrington.”

Read the article….always interesting to see how national reporters see our community and the area that surrounds the Pensacola Country Club and the entrance to NAS Pensacola. What our leaders ignore, others ask WTF?

So now Warrigton is the bad part of town! I thought it was Brownsville! LOL. They made Warrigton sound like a bad HBO special.

Richardson’s a great athlete, not very articluate in his speaking skills.

Hopefully, he still has a couple of Language related classes left to complete at U of A.

This article gives the Pensacola area a new distinction “Crack Alley”

    More positive press….
