Gannett offers buyout to local staff

February 24, 2012

Gannett, the largest newspaper in the country and the owner of Bella, and Pensacola’s daily newspaper, is offering to buy-out the contracts of certain veteran employees. Fifteen local employees have received offers — eight of them are in the newsroom. My sources tell me that Ginny Graybiel, Carl Wernicke and Gary McCracken are among the eight.

What? Not Earle Bowden?
