Gov. Scott accused of intentionally lying or malfeasance


St. Pete Times reports some Republican lawmakers are upset with how Gov. Rick Scott rejected the $2 billion in federal funding for the proposed high-speed rail system. Fifteen states are getting a share of the money that had been earmarked for Florida. State Sen. Thad Altman, R-Viera, said, “The governor is either intentionally lying or it’s malfeasance.”

Scott had claimed last month that by rejecting the $2 billion he helped Congress stop the shutdown of the federal government. Read more.
