May should replace Story

Gulf Power president/CEO Susan Story resigned yesterday from the the board of trustees of the Community Maritime Park Associates. She cited worries of any perceptions of potential Sunshine Law issues with the newest board member, Bentina Terry, who is a Gulf Power VP.

CMPA appears to be locked into a certain number of minority spots. I think they should break the rigid quota system and appoint the Rev. LuTimothy May. May is young, but has attended every CMPA board meeting and stayed interested in the park from the beginning.
