Mitt Romney is reporting that he has raised just over $20-million for the first quarter in his bid for the GOP nomination for president in 2008. He also lent his campaign $2.35-million, putting the total at $23-million.
Meanwhile, John “I’m not crazy” McCain raised $12.5-million for the quarter and Rudy “I Love My Wife” Giuliani $15-million.
Prediction: A Yankee may win the nomination, but not the general election….see John Kerry, Mike Dukakis. We elect our presidents from the South or West.
