More on Pensacola Village shootings

An investigation continues into a double shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon in Pensacola, and four people initially questioned as potential suspects have been released.

Meanwhile, the two victims – Roosevelt Bogan, 28, and Brittany Nairn, 22, both of Pensacola – remain hospitalized. Bogan, who was shot in the back, is listed in critical condition and Nairn, who was shot in the chest, is in good condition.

The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. in the 600 block of East Fairfield Drive when two masked men forced their way into a home and shot Bogan and Nairn, who are brother and sister. A motive for the shootings has not yet been determined.

Anyone having information on the incident is asked to contact the Pensacola Police Department at 435–1900.
