The Miami Herald detailed vetoes in Gov Rick Scott’s new budget. He vetoed funding for the Dan Marino Foundation Vocational School for disabled kids and $1.5 million for the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence but did not veto $5 million in the budget for a “world-class” rowing center in Sarasota.
The budget approved a 5 percent increase in university tuition. READ
