NYT writes airports want local chefs

These articles aren’t hard to find. The New York Times’ “In Transit” reports that a number of airports across the country are opening restaurants from high-profile hometown chefs, offering local flavor to fliers.

I’m not finding any articles touting Chick-fil-A, Einstein Bagels, etc. at airports. Local flavor is the trend.

    @Dale Parker….Last I heard Jim was hanging out at one of his Seaside locations and is not at the local establishment on a day to day basis.

    Seriously, you honestly think that a “local” chef would not be cooking? I seriously doubt they will be flying in. For that matter, do you really think that Chef Shirley is going to be cooking up seafood at the Airport…… NOT.

    And for that matter, I WISH they flew someone in to help Verona’s
