After descending from the upper level of the Pensacola Bay Center, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney took a moment for a group hug with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and senate hopeful Rep. Connie Mack IV (R-Fla.). Ten thousand thunderous supporters had been worked into a frenzy and the candidate seemed so happy about it that he might cry.
Romney thanked the Pensacola crowd for a “welcome like no other,” before asking people to cast their vote for him in an election about “big things, big changes.”
“That’s why in November we’re going to elect a leader that is going to bring real change and big change to America,” the candidate said.
