Creative Learning Academy (CLA) is hosting the Bayou Hills Run on Saturday, March 15 at Bayview Park at 7:30 am.
The event features a one mile Kids Run, 5K run, and 10K run that begins and ends at Bayview Park. The run continues to grow each year with close to 1,000 participants last year and hopefully more runners in this year’s event.
Once again Running Wild, a race partner for 5 years with the Bayou Hills Run, has agreed to team up with CLA for race management services.Following the race, there will be an awards ceremony and post-race party.
This year will mark the 5th year of the return of this wonderful community event that started in 1978. The Bayou Hills Run was established with the mission to engage our students and families to develop a healthy lifestyle through running. Since then, the success of the run has enabled us to expand our mission to inspire, encourage, and involve all families of the community around an event that promotes health and fitness through recreational running and walking.
