For the third consecutive year, the Pensacola Sports Association will partner with COX Communications to host the Cox Diamond Invitational.
The three-day round-robin baseball tournament will feature four NCAA Div. I schools playing at the waterfront stadium at the Vince Whibb’s Jr. Community Maritime Park in Pensacola, FL. The teams playing in next year’s Cox Diamond Invitational are the Michigan State Spartans, Auburn Tigers, University of Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles, and Troy Trojans.
The tournament will last from Friday, March 4 until Sunday, March 6. Two games will be played on each day. The games will be at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. A minimum of two games will be televised on the Cox Sports Television (CST) Network, highlighting our area and beautiful stadium to over 5.5 million viewers in 18 states.
The following schedule is tentative, and games and start times are subject to change pending weather conditions and the end times of previous games:

2 p.m. Southern Mississippi vs. Michigan State
6 p.m. Troy University vs. Auburn University
· Saturday, March 5:
11 a.m. Auburn University vs. Michigan State
3 p.m. Troy University vs. Southern Mississippi
· Sunday, March 6:
11 a.m. Michigan State vs. Troy University
3 p.m. Southern Mississippi vs. Auburn University
