The Pensacola Double Bridge Run presented by Publix hosted 3,480 competitors from more than 40 states for their 15k run, 5k run and 5k walk events! Brisk temps at this year’s run led to some very fast finish times for the competitors.
Cash awards go to the 15K first place ($750), second place ($400), third place ($200), fourth place ($100), and fifth place ($50) finishers in both men’s and women’s categories.
Overall awards for the 15K and 5K runner’s races including overall, masters, grandmasters and senior grandmasters are given at the Awards Ceremony at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk.
The 15K winner was Tyler McCandless, 36, from Fort Collins, Colorado with a time of 44.29.
The 5K. winner was Zachary Fenten of Pensacola with a time of 15:47.
