350 Pensacola, a local environmental organization, is putting out a call for new members. Interested persons are encouraged to attend a planning meeting this Saturday, where the group will be discussing its spring schedule.
The primary focus of the meeting this weekend will be Earth Day. 350 members will discuss the group’s participation in the April 20 Earth Day Festival in Pensacola.
Also on the planning session agenda Saturday: Climate training workshop (tentatively slated for May 11 and 12), Hands Across the Sand planning (scheduled for May 18), a discussion on 350’s role in the Keystone XL pipeline debate and a discussion about RESTORE Act strategies.
