50 Lunches for King’s BBQ

My love of King’s BBQ is well-documented. The pork BBQ sandwiches make my mouth water just thinking of them. King Rivers and his wife are ready to retire. The BP Oil Spill and the recession haven’t been kind to this couple. Please make them one of your lunches this week. Call it your personal economic recovery effort. Tell Mr. Rivers – Rick Outzen sent you. No, he isn’t an advertiser, but sometimes we should just help our locally-owned iconic businesses.

This is solely take out so don’t look for fancy tablecloths. There is a picnic bench outside, but it’s usually taken. King’s is at 2120 North Palafox St. at the corner of Maxwell and N. Palafox streets.

Post what you ordered. My goal is to get King’s 50 new lunch customers this week. Please make this happen–forget your diet for once.

Thanks
