Zarzaur Law, P.A., seeks critical evidence in an unprecedented case involving a patient privacy violation.
The law firm has announced a $5,000 reward for the first person to provide the unauthorized photographs at the center of this disturbing case. The firm represents three victims who were allegedly photographed without consent while under medical care, with those images subsequently shared on Snapchat.
Why This Evidence Matters
The photographs in question represent critical evidence in this disturbing case. According to the allegations, Jay Hospital employees entered patient rooms in February 2025 while patients were asleep or heavily medicated, taking unauthorized and degrading pictures that were later circulated on social media.
Dig Deeper: The victims have never been shown these photographs. Despite hospital representatives acknowledging that employees took “horrible” pictures, the patients remain in the dark about what exactly was captured and shared. Hospital representatives even approached victims with settlement offers, asking them to sign legal releases without ever disclosing what the images depicted.
One victim reported waking up unclothed after being medicated, only to have a staff nurse make crude comments about her body being visible throughout the night. She later learned that hospital employees had photographed and posted images to Snapchat—a violation she never could have imagined when seeking medical care.
- “These victims deserve to know the full extent of the violations committed against them,” said Attorney Joe Zarzaur. The reward program aims to bring these images to light, providing the victims with the evidence they need to fully understand what happened to them during their most vulnerable moments.
How to Claim the Reward
Zarzaur Law, P.A., will award $5,000 to the first person who provides the photographs in question. Once the images are corroborated by evidence and verified as authentic, the individual will qualify for the reward.
