In an Inweekly/Political Matrix poll of 625 likely Escambia County voters, we found 75% feel safe from the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19; just over 65% think that there is enough information provided with regards to the novel coronavirus. Additionally, we found that 53.6% think the local authorities were acting promptly, and, on top of that, 63.8% agree with the overall closures. However, to counter all of that, only 31.5% even know how to get tested for the virus currently.

The voters called had cell phones and landlines and were called using an Interactive Voice Response during the hours of 5-8 p.m. on March 15, 2020.
