New business suffer in BP claims process

New businesses are having trouble with their claims with BP. The lack of operating history is difficult to overcome with the adjusters.

Mobile Press Register: “We have put a claim in with BP; they offered us $2,500,” said Malinda Broglen, who, with her husband, Garry, opened Big D’s Seafood on Moffett Road in Mobile in March, then closed the seafood shop last month. “We don’t have three years of tax returns.
