Ford GOP Game Plan
- Solidify your base – make sure Pensacola Christian College and Gulf Breeze vote.
- Reach out to Scarborough, Hart and Banjanin. Don’t expect reconciliation with Scarborough camp, but others may announce endorsements of Ford. Who else will GOP vote for? But be carefull the faithful could stay home and not vote.
- Raise $50,000 to $75,000. Pay back your loans to your campaign.
- Keep your message simple – Conservative, conservative, conservative
Campbell Game Plan
- Raise some local money. Tallahassee dollars will come if you can show you have local support.
- Go after the independent voters. Give them a reason to come out and vote. They sat on the sidelines during the primaries.
- Play on Pensacola & Escambia fears of having a Gulf Breeze state rep. The message is “I’m best for Pensacola”
- Challenge Unions, African American community and long-time Dems to get off their couches and vote. Quit complaining about Bush and the Republicans and do something.
