Enu Mianigi: Scott’s death eater

The Miami Herald is profiling the inner circle of Gov. Rick “Voldemort” Scott. In the Sunday, July 10 edition, the paper focuses on Enu Mianigi, healthcare lawyer from Washington who represented Scott during his HCA problems and headed his transition team.

She is his long-time friend and one of his closest advisors—-and brilliant.

Age: 41 Born: April 9, 1970, New Delhi, India

Professional experience: partner, Williams & Connolly; law clerk Judge Franklin S. Van Antwerpen, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Family: Married to John Walke, clean air director and senior attorney for the National Resources Defense Council.

Children: Sonia, 7, Devin, 4, and Layla, 2.

Education: American University, bachelor of science in chemistry, 1991 summa cum laude; Harvard University School of Law, 1994.
