United Way Adds George Coolbaugh to Organization

United Way of Escambia County has named George Coolbaugh as the organization’s new volunteer and community engagement manager. Coolbaugh is filling the position after Pamela Mauldwin, who accepted a position with the Escambia County Equestrian Center.

“George is an excellent addition to the United Way team,” says Andrea Farage, United Way’s CEO/President. “As a native of our community with ties to both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, George is bringing strong relationships that will prove beneficial for volunteer and community engagement.”

Coolbaugh brings her sales experience to United Way with more than ten years of hospitality management, sales and convention services experience. She is an active member of the Women’s Board of the Baptist Health Care Foundation and is the current Sponsorship Chairperson for the 2011-2012 Relay for Life in Milton, where she lives with her husband and daughter.

“I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to work for United Way,” George says. “It has been a life time goal to work for the betterment of the community, and I look forward to doing great things in Escambia County.”
