As protest of the killing of 17 Year Old Trayvon Martin rages on in South Florida, the Miami Herald is reporting this afternoon that the embattled Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee is temporarily stepping down. He still stands by his actions, but feels his role has become a “distraction” at this time.  READ
