Good to work for the City

Budget cutbacks won’t hurt the bank accounts of city employees. The Pensacola City Council voted 8-0 last week, with Councilmen Mike DeSorbo and Sam Hall absent to give city civil service employees their standard 5 percent pay increases next fiscal year, and 3 percent raises to contract employees.

It’s good to work for the city.
