City RESTORE Conversation Continues in A.M.

The short, for now: Pensacola City Council has decided to wait on approving Mayor Ashton Hayward’s appointment of David Penzone to Escambia County’s RESTORE advisory committee.

The council raised concerns that they were not given more opportunity to discuss the mayor’s appointment—Penzone wasn’t named until the end of Monday’s COW meeting—and decided to continue the conversation at a special meeting next week. City Administrator Bill Reynolds informed council that the mayor would be calling the special meeting for 8 a.m. tomorrow morning.
