Last night the Escambia County Commission approved, 4-1, the interlocal agreement between the county and the City of Pensacola that gave the city $8 million to entice ST Aerospace to the Pensacola International Airport.  The Singapore-based company that repairs jet engines has promised to create 300 jobs for the area.

Greater Pensacola Chamber VP Scott Luth told the commissioners yesterday that ST Aerospace will hold a job fair on March 20.  Company representatives will talk about the jobs available and the necessary training to qualify.  The fair will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Naval Aviation Museum at NAS Pensacola.
