Taylor pre-files for Escambia Superintendent of Schools

Long-time Escambia County educator Jim Taylor has pre-filed for Escambia County Superintendent of Schools. Taylor is running as a Republican and the election will be held in 2016.

“I think now is the time we start placing children first in education; more must be done than what is currently being done,” Taylor said in a press release.

In 2012, Taylor ran as Republican for Escambia County Commission, District. He garnered 818 votes – 10.11 percent.
