Sen. Bill Nelson, the top Democrat on the Senate’s subcommittee on cybersecurity, will be in Pensacola today to get a firsthand look at the University of West Florida’s Center for Cybersecurity.
The National Security Agency recently named the UWF’s cybersecurity center as one of six National Centers of Academic Excellence across the country. He will meet with UWF officials and tour the school’s state-of-the-art facility.
