UWF to host Argo Alumni Stories event

The University of West Florida Center for Entrepreneurship, Student Government Association and Alumni Association will host the Argo Alumni Stories event on Wednesday, April 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the UWF Conference Center. A panel of four UWF alumni will share their stories about success and life after graduation.

The panelists will include Dr. Ken Ford, founder and CEO of Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition; Suzanne Lewis, retired Yellowstone National Park superintendent; Mort O’Sullivan, retired managing member for Warren Averett; and Harrison Peters, chief of schools for Hillsborough County School District. Quint Studer, UWF entrepreneur in residence, will welcome and introduce the panelists and President Martha D. Saunders will serve as the moderator for the discussion.

“Preparing young adults for successful careers and lives, this is what we do at UWF,” said Dr. Ed Ranelli, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and dean emeritus of the UWF College of Business. “On April 11, four prominent Argo alumni will share their stories of how their educational experiences at UWF contributed to their successful careers and lives.”

The opening reception will begin at 4 p.m. The presentation will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided.
