This morning, I looked back at when Sen. W. D. Childers termed out of the Florida Senate, after having served since 1970, and chaired the Escambia County Commission. Four years later, he was tried for Sunshine law violations and bribery. The man that he was later convicted of bribing, Willie Junior, was found dead under a house in Pensacola.
