The 2016 Inweekly Power List #1, Bentina Terry, has been named the president and CEO of Southern Company’s Southern Linc and Southern Telecom, Inc.
Terry had been an important community leader and mentor as Customer Service and Sales vice president for Gulf Power. She co-led the Pensacola Chamber’s successful Vision 2015 program and served on the Community Maritime Park Board. She helped launch the careers of the two Jennifers – Grove and McFarren.
She left Pensacola in 2017 to become the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Georgia Power.
Terry assumes her new role January 1, leading these Southern Company subsidiaries that provide mission critical LTE wireless and dark-fiber networks and services to electric utilities and a range of businesses and public sector agencies.
