The daily newspaper has chosen to focus on the cost of legal counsel defending Supervisor of Elections Robert Bender against a lawsuit filed by Bruce Childers, husband of County Clerk Pam Childers.
- The attorney, George Levesque, won the case. The News Journal asked Pam Childers how she paid for attorney fees in the 401a lawsuit.
PNJ chose not to point out how the judge denied the Childers effort to get on the ballot because Pam’s version of the events wasn’t true and made little sense.
- The daily newspaper didn’t mention the video in its article on the hearing that occurred 10 days ago. It didn’t show its readers the written order.
Meanwhile, Pam Childers is stewing because she got caught lying. She will lash out soon.

I’m not sure what meeting Melissa was watching but Commissioner Kohler hardly grilled anyone. He simply asked a question about the SOE not having outside counsel and Robert gave a lengthy response uninterrupted. It was a very polite interaction. Melissa is trying to create drama when there is none.
The audacity of Mike Kohler shooting laser beams at Robert Bender out of his beady raccon eyes while he Gitmo grilled him on the legal was revolting. I’m so glad that we weren’t in chambers to see Pam doing her best damsel in distress with her bright red Building Meaninful Cults part dress on while Kohler worked his angry schtick. What an embarrasing shame he is every time he opens his mouth.
