“We’ve gotten an overwhelming response from volunteers interested in registering for the hazmat safety courses being offered at the Civic Center, from as far away as Walton County and up to Birmingham. These classes are required for anyone wanting to volunteer for cleanup post-spill. Volunteers can self-register at www.bereadyescambia.com/training. It currently shows classes are full but more will be opened up soon, just check back at the website.
