Accident last night at Pensacola International Airport

From David E. Allen, City of Pensacola Fire Marshal:

We had a twin engine propeller aircraft have a collapse of its right side landing gear while in a taxiway around 1700 hours on the 29th. Two souls on board, no reported injuries, no significant fluid leaks, and some amount of damage to taxiway surface.

The call was initially an Alert I, after ARFF arrived on scene and determined extent of damage – call was upgraded to an Alert III w/o need for additional units.

ARFF apparatus remained on scene w/ aircraft past 2200 hours and called for 6 and 16 to assist airport in removing aircraft from taxiway.
