Escambia County growth since 2006 may not be as much as I earlier reported. Looking at the annual population estimates the 2006 estimate for Escambia County (306,243) is significantly more than American Community Survey figure (295,426) The Santa Rosa figures don’t have such a wide variation. Still the vast majority of the growth in Santa Rosa happened in the first half of the past decade.
