Pensacola Junior College is set to move to a full four-year college and offer bachelor degrees. However, I’m hearing that the college may not get the funds from the state to do so.
In the budget conference committee, State Sen. J.D. Alexander is demanding that the funds intended for PJC, Seminole and other community colleges go to his Polk State College. Apparently there is little that Sen. Don Gaetz and Rep. Clay Ford can do about it. Alexander is the budget chief.
