Winter ice

From Meteorologist Scottlin Williams Wilson:

SNOW TIMING UPDATE
-The heavier bands of snow will continue to gradually move south.
-Snow + strong wind gusts (up to 30 mph) = near blizzard conditions for the next few hours.
-Moderate to heavy snow looks to continue in Escambia County (mainly along/south of I-10) until between 6-8pm.
-Total snowfall amounts will likely exceed 6” along the I-10 corridor (from west Mobile east through areas north of Pensacola). There may be isolated amounts in these areas up to 8 inches.
After snow ends, very cold and dangerous temperatures will come overnight.
