Anderson Subaru Donates $39,000 to Pensacola Breast Cancer Association
The gift brings the dealership’s total giving to the organization past $225,000 since 2014.
Anderson Subaru presented a $39,000 check to the Pensacola Breast Cancer Association on Tuesday, June 9, as part of the dealership’s annual Subaru Share the Love event. Billy Anderson, president of Anderson Subaru, made the presentation at the dealership’s Pensacola Boulevard location.
- The contribution pushes Anderson Subaru’s cumulative giving to the PBCA past $225,000 since the partnership began in 2014. Those funds have supported free breast cancer education and mammograms for underserved and uninsured patients across the Florida Panhandle.
“At Anderson Subaru, we understand the paramount importance of regular screening and early diagnosis in combating breast cancer. We are honored to support the PBCA’s mission through this donation, as it aligns with our commitment to improving the lives of those in our community.”
—Billy Anderson, President, Anderson Subaru
For the PBCA, the annual Share the Love donation has become a milestone event. Barbara Dean, vice president of the association, said the call from Anderson Subaru each year signals meaningful help on the way for patients who might otherwise go without screening.
“The moment we receive the call about Anderson Subaru’s Share the Love Event donation, we know it’s going to make a profound impact on countless lives. The check presentation is a joyous occasion, celebrating our partnership with Anderson Subaru and acknowledging the tangible difference they’re making in our community.”
