The City of St. Cloud, Fla., has been hit by a cyber attack that appears to be similar to what the City of Pensacola has been dealing with for the past week.

Landlines and online payments have been disrupted. St Cloud has switched to accepting only cash payments for Parks & Rec events.

City of St. Cloud Targeted by a Cyberattack

On the morning of March 25, the City of St. Cloud was targeted by a cyberattack, which is affecting some City services including phone lines. We are working with state and local partners to address the issue as quickly as possible.

While many City departments have been affected, City government remains open and is operating as best as possible until the issue is resolved. In-person payments for Parks and Recreation events and services are temporarily cash-only. Online facility reservation payments and online event registrations are still accepting credit card payments.

Police and Fire Rescue are responding to calls for service. Payment for services at the Transfer Station temporarily will be cash only, and all trash and recycling collection routes will operate as scheduled.

Payments to external utility providers such as Toho Water Authority, OUC, and the Osceola County Tax Collector’s Office (which operates a satellite office in City Hall) are not affected by this issue.
