Sherrer Kuchera
Human Resources Administrator
City of Pensacola
222 W. Main Street
Pensacola, FL 32502

Dear Ms. Kuchera,
I am now in receipt of your letter dated 6/7/12 in which I have been formally offered the position of Council Executive with the City of Pensacola’s City Council.

After much careful reflection on all the particulars of this position as I now understand them, I have decided that it is in my best interest at this time to remain in my current position as an Assistant Professor of Community and Regional Planning at Appalachian State University. I must, therefore, respectfully decline the Mayor’s offer of employment.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to interview for this position, and I ask that you forward

It makes you wonder if he spent some time watching the old council meetings.
