Gov. Bob Riley of Alabama and Gov. Haley Barber of Mississippi will announce today the formation of “The Aerospace Alliance†—a four-state region from NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi to Panama City, Florida whose mission will be to establish the Gulf Coast as a world class aerospace, space and aviation corridor.
We already have Gulf Coast Aerospace and Defense (GCAD)- a coalition of Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Escambia counties to showcase the aerospace assets of our Gulf Coast.
We have iTen Wired that joins together Mobile, Baldwin, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties that focuses on attracting technology-driven entrepreneurship.
We need a scorecard to keep up with all of them.
