AP: State attorney says charges are possible in jail blast

Melissa Nelson-Gabriel, AP reporter for Northwest Florida, is doing a great job covering the April 29 explosion at the Escambia County Central Booking and Detention Center. Her interview will State Attorney Bill Eddins is being read around the country today.

Eddins told her that criminal negligence charges were a possibility. She also reported that the county has denied requests for the recordings of phone calls made inmates at the CBD prior to the explosion and requests to view surveillance video recorded at the CBD.
