Arc Announces 2013 Crab Cake Winners

Arc Gateway announced the winners of its annual Crab Cake Cook-Off. People’s Choice Awards went to the Oar House with first place, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos with second and Five Flags Rotary’s “Team Donna” with third! The Judges’ Awards were presented to Riptides Sports Grill for first place, Bonefish Grill for second and newcomer Ada’s Restaurant for third. Twenty-two local restaurants, catering companies and crab cake teams turned out for the event at Seville Quarter on Wednesday, July 10.

The Arc Gateway Crab Cake Cook-Off, presented by King Crab Sponsor Dr. Stu Bonnin, “The Kids’ Dentist,” features all-you-can-eat crab cakes, wine tastings, silent auction and a special showing of ceramic artwork created by Arc Gateway artists. The event is a fundraiser for the Arc Gateway Foundation which supports Arc Gateway in the mission to provide services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Pensacola area.
